A young man named Slither Snake creates a farming commune know as "Arraborough" on a small patch of isolated land, and he and his friends find themselves embarked on a road to an unimaginable future. Maybe you read the description up there and see that there's a character called Slither Snake, and maybe that makes you think it's simplistic and childish, but you'd be completely wrong. This is an extremely carefully written tale, a fantastical mystery about a magical, peaceful place with an unknown but very dark past, with a huge cast of colorful and distinct characters. It's paced out perfectly; little bits are revealed at just the right times, and it's always just the right amount to keep you interested in finding out the rest. There's broken hearts, jealousy, murder, conspiracy, foreboding, and everything else you could expect from a story, and it just keeps drawing you in with every new revelation.You really should give this one a try. You won't regret it.
